Do young people need to bring their own tents? – If they have a tent to bring, then yes. If not you can hire a tent from Crossfire for a small charge (£10pp for individual tent hire or £5pp if you’d like to hire a tent to share with someone you know). All young people need to bring their own sleeping bag and roll-mat. If this is a problem, please get in touch.

Do I need to come with a group? – At Crossfire young people can come either as part of a group (for example their youth group) or individually or with a couple of friends. When young people arrive at Crossfire they’ll be assigned to a small group with two leaders with whom they’ll share discussion and complete activities.

Is food included? – Yes! All food for the weekend is provided by our wonderful catering team.

Does an Adult need to come too? – No, we make sure there are enough adult leaders to make the weekend safe and enjoyable. Each camper will be in a smaller group for the weekend, called a ‘tribe’, so it’s easy to get to know others who come along. Each tribe is looked after by 2 adult leaders who are there for them all weekend.

What time does Crossfire start and finish? – You can arrive at Stathern Lodge from 7:00pm on the first night to setup and on the last day the programme finishes at 2:45pm.

What do I need to bring? – A full kit list is sent out once we have received your booking form however you will need to bring a tent (unless you’re hiring one from us), sleeping bag, clothes (remember May/June can bring warm days and cold nights), good footwear, toiletries, Bible, notebook and pen.

What are the Covid-19 restrictions? – Every year we undertake a thorough risk assessment to ensure the safety of everyone at Crossfire. The situation regarding Covid-19 is frequently changing so as we get closer to camp we’ll be keeping a close eye on the UK Government restrictions and National Youth Agency best guidelines to ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible.

I have exams soon, will there be time for me to study? – We carefully put the Crossfire program together each year to get the balance of activities and free time. Throughout the weekend you’ll find free time opportunities when you can study whilst still being able to make the most of your time at Crossfire.

What happpens if Crossfire is cancelled? – We always hope that Crossfire will proceed as planned. Under very exceptional circumstances beyond our control it may be necessary to cancel Crossfire. Where we have cancelled Crossfire all bookings will receive a full refund.

Can I cancel my booking? – If you need to cancel your booking please contact us to discuss it further.
